CPU 468 60 Nvidia Geforce GT555M temperatures/overclocking question+i7 2670qm question.?

Oliver Asked: Nvidia Geforce GT555M temperatures/overclocking question+i7 2670qm question.?

So I successfully found the sweat spot for my GT555M (laptop gpu) it runs at 40-45 idle and 70-80 gaming. When over clocking to gain a 20fps boost (with the help of game booster and MSI Afterburner) and around a 5-10 degrees Celsius increase from the default clock. The problem is I don't know what an acceptable temperature is for this card, I have heard people say 75 degrees, 80 degrees, 85 degrees and even 1 guy said 100 degrees (yeah I know he was probably trolling or retarded) on various forums, the threads I read. So I was trying to change the speed of my fan to be at 100% all the time to no avail, I went through loads of 3rd party applications, hacked drivers, registry key edits and I went through bios also no option to change the fan speed. So if anyone knows how to change the fan speed my laptop is a Asus N55SF-S2213V and I can't seem to find a microcontroller for my fan speed! sad huh, seeing as how Asus made software to speed up your fan/overclock (Asus gpu editor republic of gamers edition or something) and my laptop can't even do it.

Now onto more conventional methods of cooling my gpu, I heard taking the battery out should give me a drop of around 3 degrees Celsius when I did it I got a drop of around 1 does taking the battery out really cool? does it depend if your fan sucks in air through the bottom vents etc. I opened the window that definitely helped a drop of 5. Now onto something else I am looking for a good laptop cooling pad, I found the Cooler Master Storm SF-19 and it looks great and seems to cool by 10 degrees Celsius but it is too expensive right now so if anyone can find/recommend a cheaper one that cools by 7-10 that would be great. K, herp derp question time, would taking the case of the bottom of my laptop and letting the air of the cooling pad hit the gpu/cpu heatsink plus the HDD directly make a difference than making it flow through these very small vents I have at the bottom.

And one last question! My i7 2670qm runs at 50 degrees Celsius idle! and much higher gaming. What do you suggest I do about that? I have sprayed the inside with compressed air etc. And there was a little difference but not much. Any more ways to cool my pc would be gladly appreciated! Means then I can finally play BF3 max, already managed to Skyrim max everything turned on at 40+ fps I am really pleased with this card, oh the clock at the moment is core clock: 725mhz memory clock: 950mhz. The default clock was core clock: 670mhz memory clock: 900mhz. Thanks to any one would responds, bye!
